Lindsey Baber - Smithville HS
Lindsey comes across kinda shy, but don’t let that fool you! When she stepped in front of my camera, it’s like she was born to be photographed! Her mother tells me that when she gets together with her friends they laugh so hard they cry. Well, I wasn’t seeing it so I had her call one of her friends on the cell phone and, whatever her friend said to her, she started cracking up as you can see in one of the images here. I remember Lindsey from soccer. Here you see an image with her truck and soccer ball. Lindsey’s family roots are in the Parkville area so we did some of her session in downtown Parkville as seen below. Lindsey, you were born to be photographed!
Zak Beach - Smithville HS
One of Zak’s requests was for one of his images to be captured at the soccer field at Smithville High School doing a BICYCLE KICK with the soccer ball! We made Zak’s dream come true! It took us a bit to get it, but we did it and Zak was happy. NO, FOLKS, THIS IS NOT PHOTOSHOP TRICKERY. IT’S THE REAL THING! And, since our motto here at Rudy’s is that only happy clients come back, we give it our all! Zak’s passion is soccer, as you can see by some of the other images we did of him. Zak is also a happy guy that smiles a lot, but he also looks good with a pleasant look. Zak tells me he plans to go to MU and major in engineering. We wish you the best with your goals, Zak!
Cecily Boyle - Platte County HS
Cecily, is a Twilight movie fan! So Chris, our graphic designer/artist, gave Cecily the golden eyes to look like one of the Twilight characters, as you can see by one of the images below. I remember Cecily from having photographed the Platte County Cheerleaders. She also likes to play her guitar. Cecily loves Paris, France and one of her goals is to make it there some day. There’s no doubt in my mind she will achieve her goal. Check out the image we did of her with her Paris props. I love that beret!
Tori Coleman - North Platte HS
Tori, I love the yellow rubber ducky idea! We also stuck her in the water with her yellow duck. She really didn’t mind getting wet. Tori, was fun to photograph. She is active in cheerleading and band. If I recall correctly, she has been playing clarinet since the 5th grade. She’s also on the yearbook staff and plans on majoring in journalism. Tori had seen an image of a senior we did for the class of 2010 with the SENIOR block letters in a dress, and as you can see here, we made her wish come true of creating something similar. I love your WOW images! Your brown eyes really pop!
Kelicia Edwards - Smithville HS
I always remember Kelicia from volleyball and basketball which we captured in her images. She couldn’t make up her mind what ball to be photographed with so we used both. This is what her dad also requested. We also did some on-location images on the volleyball court at Smithville High School. Her dad, Matt, really got excited using our blower to blow Kelicia’s hair on her WOW images. Ask her to show you her WOW look in her portfolio. Her eyes pop like she wanted them to!
Rashel Frerking - Smithville HS
Rashel’s activities include color guard and singing, as you can see by one of the images. I love the singing images with the red glasses! Rashel is fun to work with and funny! I remember her from the color guard at school. Her cat, Charlie, was a bit scared. I think he was wondering if he was at the vet's office, but we managed to get a good image of the two of them together.
Allyson (Ally) Hilden - Smithville HS
I remember Ally from band and as the drum major. She’s quiet but powerful! She plays trombone and plays tennis, as you can see again what our graphic designer, Chris, did with her trombone and tennis balls. But that’s nothing. Look at the snow image with her Warriors hat and scarf? Not too shabby for being summer time! I’m telling you, I’m not really sure where that Chris got the snow from, considering he hates COLD???? It’s a well kept secret... We also did part of Ally’s session at the Nelson Art Gallery and a tennis court.
Amy Hooser - Platte County HS
Amy is very quiet, but she's a big smiler. Amy loves to read and she’s very interested in photography. She said she would either like to do nature or people photography. She’s also involved as a Thespian. Like I said, Amy is quiet, but that’s OK. It’s just her personality. That’s why I don’t have much to say. I think I did most of the talking during the session. We wish you the best with your interest in photography!
Nick Johnson - Smithville HS
Nick is a very quiet gentleman, but he plays a mean snare drum. He played for me, as you can see in one of his images where he's having a "Splash" of a time. I remember Nick from both band and golf. You need to ask Nick to show you the image with his university baseball caps These are from the universities he's considering attending. Nick wants to major in engineering. Nick, we wish you good luck in deciding!
Carly Klynsma - Smithville HS
Carly is FULL OF ENERGY! I'm sure there is never a dull moment with her! She’s a blast to photograph and she takes direction really well! I remember Carly from cross country and track. Much to my surprise, she’s a wonderful artist as well. You can see her art in one of her images. Carly, as long as you keep your enthusiasm for life the way you do, nothing can stop you!
Kayla Mertz - Smithville HS
I remember Kayla from volleyball. She’s another one that wouldn’t sing for me. She just faked it, as you see here in one of her images. Kayla would some day like to be an actress on Broadway. The Broadway image was a request by her mother. Kayla loves the theatre and singing. She plans on going to college and majoring in vocal performance and vocal education. Check out the cool image with Kayla driving by us in her car. She wasn’t speeding. This is another one of Chris’ magic and idea of capturing her driving down the road. Kayla, remember us when you get to Broadway and send us tickets!!
Katherine Miller - Mid-Buchanan HS
Katherine is the second of 2 girls in the family I have had the privilege of photographing. Her sister, Becca, was our model representative for the class of 2010 at Mid-Buchanan. Again, it always amazes me the difference in personality with siblings! It’s what makes my job a terrific challenge. Katherine is the football manager and also plays softball. I’m told she has a beautiful voice, as you can see by the image of all her awards in vocal music, but I just couldn't get her to sing for me. Oh well. She’s also a country girl with a truck. Katherine wants to be a nurse someday.
Tanner Mothershead - Smithville HS
Tanner is a quiet gentleman, but don’t let that fool you. Just by talking with him, I know he's a creative guy! He likes doing graphic design with computers and would like to have an Apple. He's saving his money for one. I have known Tanner and his family for a long time. He also is a track athlete. He has a twin brother named Taylor, who is also one of our model representatives. OH BOY are they completely opposite of each other! Tanner, you look great in a hat!
Taylor Mothershead - Smithville HS
Here’s the twin brother of Tanner I mentioned above. Like I said, they each have their own personality. Taylor talks a bit more than his twin brother. Taylor is into comic characters as you can see in one of the images. I love that t-shirt. It’s a conversation shirt! I also love the hat. It reminds me of an Irish lad! How about that cute little dog, Mo-Jo. He behaved during the entire session! I never recall photographing a senior with comics. It’s hard to believe that you and your brother are seniors! Thank you and your parents for the opportunity to photograph you and Tanner!
Nick Regan - Platte County HS
Nick is another one of our clients that I have been photographing since he was a young lad. I have also had the privilege of photographing his family. Nick’s passions are baseball and cross country. He also likes his pick-up truck. I liked the baseball outfit he brought so we did an ad type of image with him. One of his requests was for an image outdoors with his truck, as you can see here. I also like the image he requested with the photograph of his grandpa and him and his sister in it. We also included his grandpa’s watch and pocket knife. Neat idea, Nick!
Samantha (Sam) Richey - Smithville HS
I remember Samantha from volleyball. She has such a happy little kid's face and such a happy smile. Samantha loves cows. They’re her favorite animal. Check out the image we did with her black and white cows. If I remember correctly, she’s only the second senior I have photographed with cows. I love it! She told me that she didn’t look good with a serious expression. I disagree. Judge for yourself. I love that Converse tennis shoes shirt. Keep smiling, Samantha. You made me happy with your smile!
Madison Warren - Smithville HS
Madison not only has a smily face, but she cracks up a lot! She had trouble keeping a straight expression, but we had FUN! She cracked me up, and she doesn’t sit still very long, either. We had to chase her around the studio ( just kidding). I love the request her mother made for us to do with her t-shirt. You can see the final image here. Again, our graphic designer, Chris, made it happen for them. Check out the image with the hulk gloves. It was part of her halloween outfit last year. I remember Madison from her being a football and wrestling manager and also in track.
Brandon Zenner - Platte County HS
Brandon is another sort of quiet gentleman. His passion is soccer! He's very polite. He's also not afraid to ask for what he wants. We went on-location to the Platte County stadium to capture some images. You can see a couple here. The one with the iPod head phones was his request since that’s what he does just before a game. I liked his idea so we made it happen for him. Brandon, you’re a gentleman and a scholar!
