Cyrena Adams - Platte County HS

Cyrena makes the 3rd of the Adams sisters that I have had the pleasure of photographing.  Cyrena is a very happy girl.  She gets tickled very easy.  We had a couple of moments during her session that we both lost it and started cracking up.  Cyrena, like her other 2 sisters, has the most unusual powerful eyes.  Cyrena, always keep smiling and keep your sense of humor.

Tonya Brinker - Smithville HS

Tonya is kind of a quiet young lady, but she does fantastic in front of the camera.  She tells me she wants to be a nurse.  I photographed her cousin about six years ago and there’s a lot of resemblance between them.  Tonya, have a great summer, and take some time off in between working at the brick house.

Michael Chastain - Smithville HS

I remember Mike (he likes to be called Mike) from both the football and wrestling photographs we have done of him the last three years at Smithville HS. I find Mike to be a really easy going individual, he seems very calm.  He really got into the session and made my job easier.

For those unfamiliar with our work, we offer the option of creating a “Fantasy Photo.”  Below is one such request from Mike.  He asked to have the football field show up in his sunglasses, emphasizing Smithville’s logo.  In real life, this is impossible without getting the photographer in the lenses.  You also would need to have the subject hovering over the field and logo, in the center of the field.  Once you step back a ways, everything becomes small in the lenses.  So, welcome the wonderful world of digital artistry.  This image was created with multiple images and good quality time spent getting the final image to appear as life-like as possible. This particular Fantasy Photo was designed by Chris.

Tomi Cordova - Smithville HS

Tomi is, again, one of those faces you never forget!  I have been photographing her in cheerleading over the past 3 years.  She’s funny and very pretty, a good combination!

Tomi wants to be a physical therapist, and is trying out for cheerleading for Northwest Missouri University.  I think she should try out for Vogue magazine.  What do you think from looking at her images?  Tomi, we wish  you the best with your goals!

Jolinda Eubanks - Smithville HS

This is not the first time I have had the privilege of photographing Jolinda.  I have photographed her with her 2 brothers.  I also had the privilege of photographing her brother Jamie who graduated with the class of 2009.  One of Jolinda’s passions is basketball.  Jolinda, I love the pink light in the hair, too.  You’re a very pretty lady!

Tessa Graybill - Smithville HS

Tessa is another one of those young ladies I have photographed in the past, both in cheerleading and cross country.  She’s fun and energetic. Check out her images with the Mustang. Maybe Ford could use Tessa as their next model for their Mustang catalog! Tessa, again, thank you for the opportunity of photographing you, and we wish you the best with your senior year!

Meagan Henderson - Smithville HS

Meagan was fun to photograph.  She brought lots of her own props.  We encourage all seniors to bring their own props which personalizes their session to have great meaning in the future.  Being retired military, I liked the army hat Megan brought of her grandfather.  The pink chair was really cool as well.  Meagan is an avid reader and also an MU fan, as you can see by the magic flying MU carpet photo.  Meagan, thanks for giving me a challenge with your props!

Ashton Hiatt - Smithville HS

Ashton has one of those faces that’s made for the camera.  You can form your own opinion.  The first time I met Ashton is when we were doing photographs for the Smithville cheerleaders about three years ago.  I recall mentioning to Zaneta (our studio manager) that I would love to do a full session with that face.  Thanks to Ashton’s family, my wish has come true.  I photographed Ashton’s brother, Tyler, last year and have also had the privilege of photographing her family!  Again, thank you so much for the opportunity!

Scarlett Lewis - Smithville HS

It seems like just the other day that Scarlett came up to me (she was a freshman) asking what she needed to do to be one of our Model Representatives.  I told her to remind us and call us towards the end of her junior year.  Sure enough, she remembered.  So, she is one of our Model Representatives.  We had fun photographing Scarlett.  Her goal is to become an RN and she has a good start as she’s already earned her Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA).  Way to go Scarlett!

Becca Miller - Mid-Buchanan HS

When I first saw Becca, she reminded me of a California surfer girl with her blonde hair and tan.  Becca is a very busy girl during the school year.  She’s into softball, FFA, and she rides horses.  Becca has such a happy face and smile!  Her mother, Lori, tells me that when Becca sets her mind to do something she gets it done.  Becca, if you keep that attitude all your life, you will accomplish great things!

John Parker - Smithville HS

The first time I met John was when he was a freshman.  We were covering the Smithville HS homecoming dance.  John has one of those personalities that you never forget.  He's always polite and he's a very charming young man!  John is full of energy and was a real blast to photograph!  John, thank you and your parents for the opportunity of capturing your personality.  The photograph of John sitting on the road was his idea.  He wanted an image that would say “The Road To Life.”  So, we found John a road...  Ask him to see the other road images.

Alisabeth Schlager - Smithville HS

Alisabeth is the second in the Schlager family that I have had the opportunity of photographing.  I photographed her sister, Ashley, about 3 years ago.  Alisabeth has very powerful eyes and smile.  Again, I remember Alisabeth when she came with her sister to do a Plaza Session.  She is a very powerful looking young lady and is very friendly and polite.  Alisabeth, I love the jungle outfits and your WOW images.  Talk about powerful EYES!  We also had LOTS! of fun on the Plaza Session, even if we had to start at 7:00 a.m.

Amanda Smith - Platte County HS

Amanda Smith is a very energetic girl, she loves to hunt, fish, target practice, and she loves animals, especially her cat Sassie that looks like a miniature leopard.  We think she should try her energy at modeling.  Thank you Amanda.  You're fun to photograph!

Isaac Stidham - Smithville HS

Isaac is a very interesting fellow to visit with!  He's into computers and electronics.  We visited quite a bit about the U.S. Air Force. He has an interest in possibly going active duty or Air Guard and, me being retired Air Force / Air Guard, I felt after we talked like I was a recruiter.  Oh well...  We wish you the best with whatever you decide.  One of Isaac’s goals is to go to Ireland someday.  Don’t forget to send us a post card from there.  Ask Issac to show you the cool images of his red challenger muscle car.  Actually, it’s his dads.  Oh well, Isaac I tried.

Have a great senior year!

Whitney Stubbs - Platte County HS

Whitney’s personality is the flip side of her sister Ashton which we photographed last year.  She’s more spunky, talks a bit more, and she’s a country girl at heart, as you can see by the tractor photograph of her.  Whitney’s eyes are very powerful, also shown in one of the photographs. It’s hard to believe that I did Whitney’s parents' wedding 23 years ago next month!!  Of course, I was just out of high school.  Whitney, you’re a blast to photograph, and we wish you the best in your senior year!

Max VanFosson - Platte County HS

I have had the privilege of working with Max and his dad, Larry, over the past several years, photographing their soccer teams.  Max was just a kid the other day, at least it seems like that.  Now, here he is a senior for this coming school year.  Max is a hunter, a soccer player, and is kinda quiet.  I also photographed Max’s sister several years back when she graduated.  Ask Max to show you some of the other cool images we captured of him.  Again, thank you Larry and Donna for being such loyal clients!

I really enjoyed my photo session with Rudy! I am super happy with all my pictures and am so excited to show them to everyone! I had tons of fun and really appreciate the opportunity to be a model rep!

Whitney Stubbs  commented on  July 31st, 2009

I had an amazing time taking pictures with Rudy, I just felt so comfortable and my pictures really show it, too. I feel like my pictures really reveal the "real me" and I appreciate all the time and hard work Rudy, Chris & Zaneta put into making my shoot turn out so wonderfully! I can't wait to order my pictures so I can start handing out the wallets to all my friends! Thank you Rudy!

Tessa Graybill  commented on  August 4th, 2009

Rudy,Chris, and Zanita, Thank you so much for taking 6 hours out of your day to photograph me! I had a lot of fun and I really like the way my pictures turned out. I have had many positive comments about what a great job you did, and even a few people who may decide to come to you for their senior photos. Thanks again for all the hard work you all put into my pictures! Sincerely, Tessa Graybill

Becca Miller  commented on  August 5th, 2009

I was a little nervous the day of my session with Rudy, as I've never thought of myself as someone who takes good pictures, but I was completely at ease after the first shot. Rudy made my session fun and the pictures turned out great. Thank you, Rudy, for all your time and work you did to make my senior year start off wonderfully!

Amanda Smith  commented on  August 14th, 2009

i absolutly loved having my pictures taken at Rudys. I really have to thank Rudy, Chirs, and Zanita, for taking more than 8 hours of their time with me. I loved the support, encouragment, and creativity i was given and allowed to have. But one of my favorite things about doing this was that i could just be ME, I thought i was going to be nervous doing this but Rudy made me feel very comfortable and i had no problems! thank you again guys for the great pictures, can't wait to take pics. in the fall!! :D

Max Van Fosson  commented on  August 23rd, 2009

I must admit I was a little nervous taking my pictures. I am usually a joker when someone points a camera at me. Once we got going I had a lot of fun. Rudy would joke with me that helped me relax. My shots look awesome! Thanks for a great time!
