We started out with an overcast morning, a few rain drops, but I had my crew do a no rain dance, and we made it with no rain, and photographed 38 teams in 4 hours! WOW, that’s lots of ball players! Thank you’s go to all the coaches, parents, players, Brian Vollenweider for his assistance in helping us make it go smooth! A BIG thank you to all my crew for a great job as well! We wish all the teams a winning season, and a fun one!

Mother nature forced us inside with Gower's baseball and softball league this year, but we still had FUN and captured some cool images of the little, and big, Gower athletes! It’s a different change and look for the individuals. All the comments we heard were positive. Considering the cool, windy Saturday morning, everyone involved toughed it out and we batted 1.000 on getting all the teams photographed! The original plan was to photograph the soccer teams outdoors, but the good old weather, or should I say the BAD old weather, was not in our favor. I believe this makes the 3rd or 4th year in a row that we have been forced to do the photo shoot indoors.
Oh well, we had FUN capturing all the soccer players and everyone seemed to be in good sprits! We want to thank Christy Curry and Chris Fisher for their assistance in coordinating the picture day. This makes our 18th year photographing the Youth Basketball league. It's really neat the number of boys and girls that we have photographed in 18 years. I recall when I first started doing photography for the league there was only 8 teams total, 4 at Platte City
and 4 at Weston. Now, it's close to 90 teams, encompassing the following towns: Dekalb, Gower, Faucett, Dearborn, Platte City, Smithville, and Weston.
