Yes, professional photographers have their family portraits done!  This is a combination of all my late wife’s family and mine.  I would like to thank Zaneta, my studio manager, for pushing the button on the camera for the large group with me in it.  The last time we did this is when my late wife, Karen, was still with us.  My mother-in-law and father-in-law are now in their 80’s and my neice, Jamie, made the suggestion that we needed to update our photographs.  I would like to thank her for coordinating all the families for the photo session!

I would like to thank Gary, Erin, and Kiley for modeling for me with their police uniforms.  Gary is a police officer in St. Joseph, Mo. and his daughter Kylie is a police officer in Topeka, Ks.  Erin is a long time military friend and is still on active duty with the Guard in St. Joseph.  She is also a part time contract photographer with us for special events.  You all are great models!

I have actually lost track on the number of times we have had the opportunity to photograph the Scott family, including all the senior sessions for the sibilings!  This family portrait session was to update with the high school graduation of Tyler.  Here you see the variety that can be done with your family session.  Again, we cherish the client relationship with the Scott family and the opportunity to serve them!

The Shipman family is no stranger to our studio.  We have done both Harrison’s and Tyler’s senior photographs and we also have done their family portraits in the past.  Stacy requested to have their family portraits done in their beautiful home this time.  We had fun doing their family session in their home, as you can see.  Thank you all so very much for the privilege to photograph your family once again!

A Birthday Surprise!

  • Published February 20th, 2014 by rudys

When I received a call from Dalton asking about having a portrait done of him with his siblings for his mom’s birthday, I responded by saying, "what a wonderful idea for your mom."  Having photographed all three siblings since they were young, it was a blast to capture them together.  Brei was one of our Student Model Representatives at Platte County High School.  There’s no doubt in our minds that mom was surprised when she un-wrapped her wall portrait on her birthday!  Yes, this post is belated so we didn't ruin the surprise...

Again, thank you all for allowing us to be part of the celebration!

The Mertz family is a long time client of our studio, with Kayla having been a Student Model Representative.  The family portrait was a Christmas gift request by Lori’s grandmother who is 93 years old.  Again, you can see the variety that we can be done with our family sessions.  Our thank you’s go out to all!  We always feel privileged to have been part of documenting your family!

Mindy and her family are no strangers to our studio, either!  I did Mindy’s senior photographs several years ago and her wedding just a couple years ago.  Here, we are doing Mindy’s family portraits.  As you can see, we have fun with capturing families!  Mindy, we wish you and your family a wonderful holiday season and thank you for coming back to us to capture these special moments in your lives!
