Session Notes: 4/23/11

Joshua and his family moved to Platte City from Wisconsin not to long ago.  Joshua is a very quiet gentleman, but he told me he had fun during his photography session. He tells me he would like to work with the design and creating of video games.  Joshua, I’m sure you will accomplish your goals and dreams!  We wish you the BEST!

The Johnsons are no strangers to our studio.  We had the pleasure of doing Diana’s senior photographs last year.  Aren’t these 3 ladies so cute?  Diana gave this portrait session as a gift to her mom.  Thank you ALL again so very much!

Wow!  It’s been over 9-10 years since we last did a family portrait of Randy and Cheryl’s family.  Now, they have a daughter-in-law, Noelle, married to Nathan, and Jesse will soon be married to Nicole.  Their wedding is in June.  Congratulations to Jesse and Nicole on their up-coming wedding.  I recall doing both Jesse's and Nathan's senior photographs.  It might be a bit difficult to tell in these samples, but I always loved their fireplace that’s shaped like the state of Missouri.  They also have a tree in their house, but we didn’t show it this time.  This was a Christmas present to Cheryl and Randy from the boys.  Cheryl has been wanting to update their family portrait. Thank you all so very much for remembering us and for giving us the opportunity, once again, to capture your family and the memories!  Please take note of the variety of images that can be done with YOUR family portrait!

Smithville High Career Day

All these photographs were taken by students of each other on career day, using a professional camera and lens, lighting, and background from our studio.  Some of the posing was done by the students and some of them posed themselves!  I can see the possibility of future professional photographers here!  They really seemed to have fun photographing each other!

I have known this young fine gentleman since his family moved to Smithville 13 years ago.  I remember photographing Taylor in the youth sports program and I have had the pleasure of working with his father, John, who’s the Men’s and Women’s soccer coach for Smithville HS.  Taylor was pretty laid back during his session, very calm! The guy flows like a model.  Taylor, we wish you the best with your future goals!
