Smithville Baseball & Softball 2011

It’s amazing the growth of the SBSL.  I can recall when we first started photographing their teams, several years back.  They had 8 - 10 teams.  We photographed 42 teams on Saturday, June 11.  WOW!  It goes to show the growth in Smithville!  We would like to thank Deb Donnell for all her assistance with scheduling the teams, and all the coaches, parents and players for once again allowing us the opportunity to capture the children’s memories!  We wish all a GREAT SUMMER!

I would like to thank Lisa for the opportunity to photograph her and her husband’s beautiful garden/pond setting.  The Pond, Lisa tells me, has been a 1 year project for her husband! Enjoy some of the images of this beautiful setting.  We also had the pleasure of photographing her son, Logan, and their pets, Suzy, a Jack Russell Doggie, and Max, their Cat.  Again, thank you for the opportunity!  I could see your back yard in Better Homes & Gardens magazine.  It's a beautiful place!

What a beautiful 2 year old, and also very smart and well behaved!  My compliments go to mom and dad!  I would like to thank Becky and Dan for the opportunity to photograph their beautiful daughter!  Becky is due with their second child in about 7 weeks, if I recall correctly!  We wish you a happy delivery!

These good folks are definitely no strangers to our studio!  Having photographed both Drew’s and Megan’s senior photographs, and Starla’s and Gary’s wedding and Starla’s business portraits, we have become good friends through the years!  Their family has grown a bit and we feel honored to have captured their memories once again!  Don’t you love the house divided image - with the KU and MU rivalry?  Which way do you think the cute baby will end up going?  Once again, here's a reminder of the different groupings and combinations you can have done with your family portraits at Rudy’s.

I'll tell you what, the Klynsma family lucked out with the weather!  When Julie called to book her family session she requested outdoors.  If I recall correctly, this is the first sunny, no clouds, no rain day we have had in days!  We had lots of fun photographing this family of 8!  Enjoy some of the images!   And I forgot to mention that Carly was one of our Model Representatives from Smithville HS for the class of 2011.  We want to congratulate her on her graduation!  The 3 girls had to give us their famous fish face pose! Just a reminder of the different groupings and combinations you can have done with your family portraits at Rudy’s.

De Kalb Baseball & Softball Teams 2011

Our thanks go out to Lanny Leroy, coaches, and parents for once again allowing us to photograph your baseball and softball players!  Unfortunately, the rain forced us indoors, but Chris captured some cool images indoors.  We wish you all a great season and summer!
