Session Notes: 8/27/10

Kristen is very quiet, but you can see the focused look in her.  She’s been involved with gymnastics since the age of 4.  It goes to show that practice, dedication, and persistence pays off.  Kristen has a full scholarship to Utah State University in gymnastics!  We congratulate you, Ms. Kristen, on your accomplishments!  I also photographed Kristen’s sister, Traci, a couple years ago.  Enjoy some of the photographs I captured of Kristen.  Thank you and your family for the opportunity of having done your senior photographs!

The 2010 Smithville High School Starlettes!

The weather was in our favor to photograph both the group and individuals of the SVHS Starlettes in our outdoor portrait park.  They wanted something different so we gave them something different.  Chris had the idea to use our Mediterranean prop with the girls and the idea was a success with the girls.  They really liked it.  It was a beautiful evening for all.  Our THANK YOUS go to Rachel, the coach, and all the girls!  Have a GREAT! season!

Session Notes: 8/18/10

I loved photographing these 2 beautiful little girls!  Ana just turned 5 years old and it’s one of the reasons her mom wanted good professional photographs of her.  Aftyn is 14 months old.  I have worked with both their parents in the past and it’s always an honor when our past clients bring their children for us to capture their personalities! Enjoy some of the images of these 2 cute girls!

Kate has a very happy face.  I always remember the happy faces, and hers always stood out.  I photographed Kate’s older sister a few years back.  Kate also makes funny faces to her mom, as you can see in one of the images below.  Kate is fun to photograph because of her happy disposition!  She plans on going to MU.  Kate, we wish you the best with your future goals!

Smithville Football: Warrior Pride!

WOW, has this football team grown in numbers!  We photographed a total of 81 players, 9 coaches, and 4 managers.  We wish all the Warriors a GREAT SEASON! Thank you to all the players, coaches, managers, and parents for the opportunity!

Session Notes: 8/13/10

I remember Haley from having photographed the Platte County cheerleaders.  Haley is quiet, but she loves the old Lucy shows.  She loves them so much that she has them on DVD.  The photograph of her Lucy collection tells it all.  Haley, you’re the first senior I have ever done with a Lucy collection.  Lucy used to be one of my favorite shows growing up also.  Haley brought her dog, Gunner, to have some images done with him.  We had to be quick with Gunner because he's only 5 months old and FAST!  Haley, we wish you a great senior year!

Ben is the second in his family I have had the privilege of photographing.  I photographed his brother, Ryan, a couple years ago.  I told Ben that he reminded me of a California surfer or a rock star.  Ben is on the swimming team at Platte County.  He's a toughie to get to smile, but we managed to get a few.  Ben, GOOD LUCK with your swimming this coming year!
